Mobile devices with internet access are becoming increasingly popular. It is much more difficult to provide the same solid level of accountability for them as for a computer. Below are our suggestions for various types of mobile devices. (We strongly recommend that these devices should be used with much discretion and only out of necessity.)

Most US mobile carriers provide some level of content filtering. This will not help for phones that can access WiFi. It is also not necessarily a comprehensive filter. Nonetheless, it is advisable to add this free feature to your phone plan.
